During the past several years, the construction of Concord CityPlace has added a tremendous amount of density to the former railway lands bounded by Front Street, Blue Jays Way, Bathurst Street and Lake Shore Boulevard. The development of this new condominium community has transformed the feel of the area, turning disused land into an increasingly vibrant vertical neighbourhood.

Back on March 11th 2007, construction was already well under way on the twin towers of CityPlace's West One and N1, while a third crane can just be made out constructing Neo at the lower centre of the image, located at the northwest corner of Spadina and Fort York Boulevard.

By October 15th 2014, Neo, Montage, and Luna Vista all also appear in this narrow view of the Concord CityPlace skyline, while in the right foreground, revitalization work can be seen under way on the former Global Village Backpackers hostel located at the northwest corner of Spadina and King.
