It has been a few months since TASMain and Main Developments and First Capital Reality introduced Kingston&Co Condominiums. Now, a new collection of suites has been released for the upper floors of the 10-storey development, which will add 140 condominium units, ranging from studios to three-bedroom + den, to the heart of the Kingston Road commercial strip, just east of Victoria Park Avenue in Scarborough. Designed by Teeple Architects, Kingston&Co will put residents within steps of public transit, shops of all kinds and only a 12-minute walk away from the Beaches Boardwalk.

Named the Upper Beaches Collection, the new units will be located on the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th floors of the building. These large units will range in size from 715 to 1,525 square feet, much more generous in size than units located on the lower floors. One of the major features of these newly-released suites is the terrace ratio of 1:3. Outdoor spaces in the Upper Beaches Collection will come in 18 different layouts, at an average size of 402 square feet, with the largest terraces measuring in at 925 square feet.

All units will be equipped with energy efficient appliances, water conserving features in both kitchens and bathrooms, and gas access and harvest planters on terraces as well as the rooftop.

Residents will have access to amenities such as a car wash, workshop and tool room, indoor gym, yoga, dining and party rooms as well as an outdoor communal BBQ area on the second floor. The development will also feature a second indoor dining room including a kitchen and a rooftop featuring a lounge space, a sun deck and an outdoor BBQ and dining area on the 9th floor. Upon completion in 2017, the new condominium development will improve the walkability of the neighbourhood by adding 1,857 square feet of ground floor retail space fronting onto Kingston Road.
