The Chester Hill lookout is one of those hidden gems that many Torontonians fail to notice when flying past on the Don Valley Expressway. Up on the east cliff of the valley and north of the Prince Edward Viaduct, the Chester Hill lookout offers a cool vantage point for the city skyline, as well as the DVP and Don Valley Brickworks. Today's Photo of the Day, submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Frank Lemire, is a unique take on the Chester Hill skyline view, shot in infrared and framed by the dense-tree cover that gives the lookout its feeling of intimacy.
