You may already know about Totem Condos. Its ultramodern shifted cube design and its great location directly above a new exit to be constructed at Wellesley subway station certainly got it a lot of attention when it launched. That attention turned into brisk sales, so now there are only a handful of units remaining at Totem, and the clock is now ticking on construction here: they will start in October in fact! That means that your opportunity to check out the presentation centre and to get in on pre-construction pricing is quickly coming to a close. All of that is pretty good news.

If you don't already know about Totem, we can tell you that the building is being developed by Worsley Urban Partners and that its bold envelope its by the architects at RAW Design, while the interiors are designed by the experts at UNION31.

The 18-storey, 120-unit condominium development will be built at 17 Dundonald Street, located a block north of Wellesley and steps east of Yonge Street. The site is currently occupied by the Commercial Travellers’ Association of Canada Building, a small and early Modernist gem which inspired the design of Totem. The building, which houses the project's presentation centre, will be moved closer to the Dundonald Street sidewalk.

To do that, the facade of the building will be carefully dismantled the preserved offsite prior to the start of shoring for the Totem excavation. Once Totem's concrete structure is complete, the the facade will be reinstalled in its new location.

Besides direct indoor access to Wellesley Station on the TTC's Line 1, residents of Totem will have access to a selection of amenities, including a party room, gym, and an outdoor roof deck.
