Kingston, Ontario has long been home to Queen’s University, one of Canada's most prestigious insitutions of higher eduction, and one with a growing student population. Like most university towns, housing is in high demand in Kingston, and with more students enrolling, the need for new accommodation has opened an opportunity for the real estate investor market through a new investor-geared condominium development to be built just steps from the Queen’s campus. University Suites is the first condominium opportunity in the university district known as ‘The Hub’, situated at the corner of Princess and University Avenues, two of the city’s most prominent streets.

Podium is a team of Queen’s University alumni who have extensive experience developing property in Kingston as well as various other Ontario markets.

The building's design is by Toronto's Teeple Architects, whose avant garde modern portfolio includes condominiums, museums, art galleries, university buildings, and more. The construction management of the project will be handled by Brookfield Multiplex, while the development will be fully managed by Kingston’s Varsity Properties.

Located in the middle of one of Kingston’s emerging neighbourhoods of the downtown area, University Suites will offer 195 turn-key and rent-ready suites with 3 year lease backs, and prices starting at $188,900. University Suites will be located steps from Queen’s University, several cafes, restaurants, and shopping, and just one block away from historic Victoria Park. The development will also offer retail space at the base, to further enhance and animate the streetscape.
