Toronto's building boom has brought about the construction of a number of high-rise condominiums and hotels in the downtown core, and the landscape continues to be transformed by new development. One of the most significant developments to see construction during the boom, the Shangri-La has become a major landmark, rising 66 storeys above University Avenue and Adelaide Street West. Today's Photo of the Day, which shows a dramatic worm's-eye view of the tower, was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by schuurman1979.
