Waterfront Toronto's Sugar Beach has seen a lot of media attention in recent weeks, and while some politicians continue to say negative things about the expenses involved in building this public space, Sugar Beach remains quite popular, and brings countless pedestrians to an urban oasis in an otherwise barren environment. Today's Photo of the Day, which shows a beautiful winter sunrise over the artificial beach, was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Jamie Hedworth.
