Mississauga has come a long way in recent years, transforming from a suburban community of subdivisions and shopping malls, into an impressive urban centre. Mississauga is now the sixth largest municipality in the country, and is easily distinguished from other cities by its landmark Absolute World, 56 and 50-storey towers which wind and curve above the intersection of Hurontario and Burnhamthorpe. Today's Photo of the Day, showing a view down to the street from Absolute's south tower, was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Oscar Flores.
