Since opening late last year, the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning has become familiar to many Torontonians. The 21-storey, 750,000 square-foot medical research facility stands at the corner of Bay and Elm, with a series of undulating atria that cantilever out over Bay Street. Today's Photo of the Day, submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr pool by Matt M S, was shot from the Peter Gilgan Centre during Doors Open Toronto back in May.
