Following on the successful 500 and 530 St. Clair Avenue Condominiums at Bathurst and St. Clair, The Lash Group and The Goldman Group are now offering The Barrington Condominium Flats, a new 18-storey, EI Richmond Architects Ltd-designed residential tower slated to rise immediately north of 500 St. Clair.

Suites at The Barrington range in size from 583 to 924 square feet, with prices starting from the mid $300,000s. The Barrington will put residents in one of the city’s most sought-after enclaves, minutes from the St. Clair West subway station, and just a few stops from some of Toronto's premiere attractions including the ROM, AGO and Queen’s Park. The area also has a wide array of neighbourhood amenities, including libraries, grocery stores, and numerous parks within easy walking distance.

The design for the project, visible in the image above, has been refined since earlier versions of the design were released during the initial planning stages. In the image below, we can see an earlier draft of the development's rendering, which helps us compare the project's revised design with the original plans.

By comparing both images above, we can see that the building's massing and shape have remained more or less unchanged since the earlier stages of design. In the new image, the roofline appears to have been revised while the exterior materials are more clearly defined.

We will be keeping an eye on The Barrington, and we will be sure to return with updates as more information becomes available. In the meantime, additional information can be found at The Barrington's dataBase file, linked below. Want to get involved in the discussion?
