One of Toronto's newer landmarks, the Exhibition Place wind turbine has become a familiar sight for motorists passing by the exhibition grounds. Erected in late 2002 for a cost of $1.8 million, the turbine stands at 91 metres in height and began producing energy in early 2003. Today's Photo of the Day comes to us from Frank Lemire, who submitted this image of the turbine to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool.
