Standing side by side, the downtown rail corridor and Gardiner Expressway are the primary routes in and out of the city for thousands upon thousands of daily commuters. In today's Photo of the Day, submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by contributor Freaktography, the fast moving headlights and stationary street lamps of the Gardiner illuminate the expressway while a column of darkness marks the adjacent rail corridor, visible to the immediate left.
