Serving as Toronto's undisputed main north-south thoroughfare, Yonge Street is arguably the most important street in the city, if not the region. Yonge connects Torontonians not just as a surface route, but also below grade as the busiest rapid transit line in the country, the TTC's Line 1. Yonge Street's economic and cultural importance to the city is easy to notice from above, where the endless spine of high-rise condominium and office towers forms a ridge along the centre of the city on a north/south axis. In today's Photo of the Day, selected from the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool, we take you to the roof of Aura at College Park for a look north along Yonge Street.
