Spring has arrived, and despite the mild temperatures and frequent rain, not quite all of our city's snow has melted. The North York Ski Centre in Earl Bales Park is a popular winter destination for skiers and snowboarders looking to get some time on the slopes without having to deal with a long drive to out-of-city winter resorts like Blue Mountain. With winter now behind us, the chairlift at Earl Bales Park now stands idle over a muddy hill inundated with meltwater. At the bottom of the hill, a few small patches of snow continue to resist the elements...at least for now.
