Recently, a few of us were sitting around the UrbanToronto office discussing what a massive archive of photographs I have accumulated over the years, a visual history of development in Toronto. I decided it's about time we started spotlighting some of these images that chronicle Toronto and its development over the last several years as the transformation of the the city's streets and neighbourhoods has progressed.

So, dear readers, welcome to a new UT feature we're calling Throwback Thursday. Unlike other similar features out there, I'm not mining the City of Toronto archives, but rather my own photo vault which is filled with thousands of images I've captured over the last ten years or so. Today, I start with a look back at a city skyline that that has experienced unprecedented change in the last few years. This shot was captured on February 13, 2007 from an upper level of what was then called Space Lofts at 255 Richmond Street East.

There have been numerous new buildings added to the skyline in that timeframe. How many can you name? Leave your list of missing current buildings in the comments below!
