Concord Adex has launched the latest phase at their Concord CityPlace neighbourhood in Downtown Toronto with a 30-storey condominium tower they call Forward. This latest Page + Steele-designed offering will connect with Newton Condominiums, an 18-storey tower at Bathurst and Fort York Boulevard which launched this past September.

Newton was offered with a host of special amenities not normally found in condominium complexes that were aimed at people with some artistic flair and with a hankering to express it. Now, residents at Forward will also enjoy the art, photography, dance, and even recording studios that they will share with Newton, plus they will have access to the extensive amenities now being built just across from them in the Prisma Club at Quartz: residents of Forward will never suffer from a lack of choice when wanting to relax, unwind, or work out.

Forward isn't just located right in the midst of a mountain of amenities, its location in the city puts it in an exceptionally well connected spot for just about everything. Immediately to the south will be a new Loblaws flagship location to be built in the company's heritage headquarters and warehouse. Just to the west is all the greenspace of historic Fort York, soon to be connected to the whole city by an incredible extension to Toronto's pedestrian and bicycle trail network. Just to the north, the city's newest library is about to open, and to the east is Canoe Landing Park with its playfield, kilometre-long running track, and summertime Farmers' Market. Go just a little farther afield and you'll find yourself right in the financial core, or at a game at the Rogers Centre or Air Canada Centre, or on trendy King West, or enjoying the Ex or Harbourfront. Studies show that our health is determined to a great degree by how walkable our neighbourhood is: Forward offers good walks in every direction.
