Do you have a strong opinions about the Gardiner Expressway? Do you think it's an unnecessary barrier between Toronto and its waterfront? Or do you think the city would suffocate itself with traffic if it didn't have this vital artery?
Now that the City of Toronto and Waterfront Toronto have resumed the Environmental Assessment and Integrated Urban Design Study of the eastern portion of the Gardiner Expressway and Lake Shore Boulevard from Jarvis to Leslie Streets, they're asking your opinion on whether downtown's elevated highway should be maintained, improved, replaced or removed.
The second phase of public and stakeholder consultations on deciding the future of the Gardiner Expressway are being held at the Toronto Reference Library's Bram & Bluma Appel Salon on Wednesday, October 16.
