Located adjacent to the Toronto Botanical Gardens, Edwards Garden was once an estate garden owned by Toronto businessman Rupert E. Edwards. Using over 400 tons of limestone from the Credit Valley, Edwards built an extensive rock garden and pond surrounded by picturesque lawns, wildflowers and landscaping. The garden is now owned by the City and is considered by many to be one of Toronto's hidden gems. Today's photo of the day, taken by the garden's pond, water wheel, and wooden bridge captures a peaceful setting where one can easily escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
