As an outlet for development, architecture, transit and real estate news, the UrbanToronto Forum has been the top source for breaking information, leads and details on practically every project in the GTA. While the Forum is a great place to find and share information about our growing city, the ‘City Photos & Videos’ section is becoming a popular tool for local photographers to showcase their work and gain additional exposure, as well as sharing comments, tips and locations. User-submitted photography plays an increasingly major role on UrbanToronto, and to highlight some of the individual contributors enriching the Forum, we have a new feature; UrbanToronto Photographer of the Week. For the third instalment we selected Forum member ‘jpBombales’, known beyond our Forum as James Bombales.

Originally from Ottawa, James is currently on educational leave from his employment in the Federal Government. Currently completing a Certificate in Marketing program at the University of Toronto, James plans on pursuing a career in real estate, with a focus on new homes and condominium developments.

A long time follower of UrbanToronto, James was fascinated by the ongoing development boom in Toronto, and after moving to the GTA for school earlier this month, he joined our Forum and has been sharing his outstanding photography ever since.

James purchased an Olympus E-520 Digital SLR camera a few years back, but until recently he didn’t have much time to use it. Now on educational leave, he has plenty of time to get behind the camera and explore his new city.

When not carrying his trusty DSLR, James often uses his iPhone 5 or his Kodak point-and-shoot camera ready just in case that perfect photo opportunity presents itself.
