Like many areas now home to residential towers, Palace Pier is a part of the waterfront that has not always been populated by condo dwellers. This image, posted to UrbanToronto's Flickr pool by AshtonPal, spotlights Palace Pier which is now home to two condo towers that stand at 46 storeys and tie for the 45th tallest buildings in the city and was once home to an amusement park built in 1927.
