We all mold our own spaces to suit the way we want to live. That's always been easiest in houses, but while we can decorate to taste in condo suites, making real change is much more difficult. One building in the neighbourhood of Wellington West will change that for its residents—and judging by the progress depicted in recent photos on our Forum—it should be soon opening its doors. The appropriately named Downtown Condos at 508 Wellington West, developed by Parallax Investment Corporation, will soon be the home for many in this exciting neighbourhood, homes which will be unique thanks to the revolutionary Flexnatur system.

The Flexnatur system is a clever, state-of-the-art system introduced by Parallax and Sweeny Sterling Finlayson & Company Architects, beter known as &Co. It allows residents to adjust their suites into varied arrangements to suit different uses. A modular raised floor system allows residents to adjust units without penetrating the slab and suite below, and rather than concrete shear walls, loads are carried on solid concrete columns, enabling movement and flexibility for interior walls. For instance, buyers have the option of purchasing two units to combine them into one larger suite, but then may split them in the future, living in one and renting out the other.

Another aspect of Downtown Condos which will make living here pretty great is the incredible downtown neighbourhood right on the building's doorstep. The bars, boutiques, restaurants and various shops located on on Wellington and King West are enough to keep an urban socialite entertained and fed day and night, while new stores offers plenty of convenience in regards to picking up groceries and necessities. The building itself includes plenty of amenities too, such as a theatre, party room, rooftop patio and more. Coupled with spectacular views of the nearby parks and the Toronto skyline, Downtown Condos will offer residents a very desirable downtown living experience.
