In the heart of one of the city's most desirable neighbourhoods—The Beach—there is an old United Church being converted and redeveloped to suit the needs of our growing population. The Bellefair Kew Beach Residences, now under construction, is a 23-unit condo and townhouse complex which will sit within the walls of the former Bellefair United Church. It deconsecrated and vacated the building a few years ago to merge with nearby Kew United. The design plans to incorporate some of the aesthetic highlights of the old structure while incorporating modern design elements. We have recent pictures from the construction site courtesy of UrbanToronto Forum contributor anonymous0024.

Developed by Reserve Properties, the sold out Bellefair is set to rise 5 storeys over Queen Street East and bring a very exclusive set of units including eight one and two-storey Penthouse suites, six of which feature rooftop terraces, overlooking the interior landscaped courtyard or the neighbouring Kew Gardens. The aforementioned interior courtyard also will serve as the the walkway connecting the condo building to six adjacent townhome suites.

With architecture by RAW Design, The Bellefair will also feature a modest retail component facing Queen, while amenities for residents will include a fitness centre and party room. Here is rendering of what we can expect from the completed building.
