Commute times are projected to improve for some of the hundreds of thousands of commuters that take GO Transit on the average weekday. The recent announcement of imminent service increases on the Lakeshore Line comes as a relief to the many GO passengers subjected to frustrating schedules and cramped rail cars on a daily basis. This image, posted to our by Flickr pool by contributor JStokes, provides us with a great shot looking east along the rail corridor south of Front Street. It should be interesting to see how busy these lines will become in a few years once the Union-Pearson Express is fully functional along with the increased GO service.
