Three new towers are rising near the intersection Don Mills and Sheppard. Developed by Elad Canada, the Emerald City condos are transforming this area of Toronto where until recently 1960s-era rental slabs stood into a sophisticated, modern residential community. Steps away from Fairview Mall, and just one door away from Don Mills Station on the Sheppard subway line, this community is easily accessible from the adjacent DVP and 401 as well. The large scale project is designed by WZMH Architects, with interiors by GNA Interior Design.

Thanks to images from UrbanToronto contributors Cruzin4U and Edward Skira, we can see that Emerald City is rising fast. Phase 1 of Emerald City is soon to top off, and will be the first tower to open at the complex. As you can see above, the second tower at the left foreground is starting to rise. As for the third tower, dubbed the Dream Tower, construction is just starting at the right of the photo above.

The image above highlights the close connection that Emerald City has to Don Mills subway station. When complete, Emerald City will contain 1,198 units designed for young professionals, growing families, and neighbours looking for the convenience of condominium living. The complex will contain a full roster of amenities for its residents including entertainment, relaxation, and recereation facilities, within a lushly landscaped site.
