UrbanToronto member Udo uses a special technique for artistic effect in this shot of The Esplanade, with a clear view to L Tower. High Dynamic Range Imaging (HDR or HDRI) allows for greater detail in the lightest and darkest areas of an image than you would get with standard photographic methods. HDR takes multiple pictures at different exposure levels and stitches them together to produce a picture that can more accurately represent the intensity levels found in real scenes.
