As our booming metropolis grows we now more often get the chance to re-envision some of our historic buildings not just in purpose but also in design. Today's photo cranes our necks upwards at the corner of King and Yonge to gaze upon one of the finest examples of historic restoration blended with modern skyscraper technology, One King West. The original building designed by the famed Darling and Pearson architects was completed in 1914 while the 51-storey condo tower above was added in 2006.
