Today's Photo of the Day is another skyline shot by Forum member lucci. Taken from east of downtown, the skyline glows with bright white and coloured city lights, accentuated by a darker foreground. This image really exposes the mostly low and mid-rise nature of the built form as one moves away from the financial core of the city. There are a number of high-rise buildings outside the downtown core which allow us to get great shots like this one, and there are soon to be more popping up in the coming years. The advantage of a high-rise outside of downtown means that the views are rarely blocked by neighbouring buildings, so we expect more great skyline photos to come as new towers go up!
