The Building Industry and Land Development Association's (BILD) fourth annual Party for Humanity was attended by over 450 industry professionals this year, and raised more than $30,000 for Habitat for Humanity Toronto. The "White Out" themed event was held at The Warehouse Event Venue at Downsview Park, and included a raffle, silent auction and a "wardrobe tax" for attendees who lacked a mandatory white peice.

According to BILD President and CEO Brian Tuckey, "this event has been a tremendous success in each of its first three years, but we chose to think outside the box this year and try something different...Our team is always thinking of new, creative ways to raise money for our community partner Habitat for Humanity Toronto, and this event is yet another example of how committed this industry is to giving back to the community". The event also recognized Paul Golini, whose leadership as Chair of the Association ends in December.

BILD has been a supporter of Habitat for Humanity Toronto for nearly ten years, raising more than $535,000 for the construction of affordable homes for low-income families.
