Taken from the Leslie Street Spit, today's Photo of the Day presents a unique perspective of the growing density within the central waterfront from the man-made natural landscape of the Spit. Built atop the refuse of decades-worth of construction projects within Toronto, the Spit is an interesting example where the dregs of Toronto's aggressive development have served to create a natural and protected environment. The image comes courtesy of Nancy Grenier, who submitted it to us by email.
