Rising just to the north of the Bell Lightbox, the 43-storey Cinema Tower is helping to complete what was once an underutilized city block. Developed by The Daniels Corporation and designed by Kirkor Architects, distinguishing features of the project will include 6000 sq. feet of performance/programming space in the podium for Artscape along with a Peter Powning-created sculpture to frame the entrance of the building. Construction on the project is set be completed by the summer of 2013.
