Canderel Stoneridge's Aura at College Park hasn't even reached the halfway point on its journey to 78 storeys, but it has already come to dominate the skyline at Yonge Street and Gerrard Street. This photo is sourced from Forum member caltrane74 who snapped the shot from the south side of Gould Street with the Yonge Street retail strip in the foreground.

In addition to Aura's climb to its eventual status as Canada's tallest residential tower, there is a lot of other activity underway or planned for this small strip of Yonge Street. The Delta Chelsea Hotel is scheduled for an extensive makeover and construction of additonal event space. To right of this photo (just out of the captured image), work has started on Ryerson University's Student Learning Centre on the former site of Sam the Record Man [RIP Sam Sniderman, who just passed away on Sunday].
