A shock of colour in what will be a wonderful disruption of the conventional, the Wallman-designed Yorkville Condominiums is a 31-storey projection of glass and metal. Located at the corner of McMurrich Street and Davenport Road, the project consists of a series of sharply articulated boxes delineated by an alternating palate of colour. Joining the nearby Four Seasons Hotel & Residences and the neighbouring Florian Condominiums, Lifetime Developments has continued the design trend seen in much of Yorkville where a preference for the contemporary has elevated the standard for high-rise residential architecture. Appreciation for the finished product, however, will have to wait for a couple of years as excavation for the tower is still underway. Thanks to our active Forum members, we are happy to bring you a quick construction update.

Ranging in size from 383 sq. ft to close to 2000 sq. ft, the 234-suite project will feature a series of units at grade with a row of townhomes along McMurrich Street. Interior design work has been undertaken by Tomas Pearce Interior Design Inc. while landscape design was awarded to gh3.
