Earlier this week Empire Communities marked a new stage in development at their hugely successful Rain Condominium development in Oakville. Located at Kerr Street and Speers Road, Empire officially broke ground on the two-tower project on Wednesday.

Empire can now boast as having the largest and most successful master-planned high-rise community in Oakville, no small feat considering the amount of development we’ve seen recently in the booming city. Rain’s location makes it ideal for those who want to experience Oakville living, being walking distance from downtown Oakville, close to the waterfront and the growing Kerr Village BIA.

The event was attended by a number of notable local figures, including Acting Mayor of Oakville Jeff Knoll, regional councillor Cathy Duddeck and Enzo Corazza of project architects Graziani & Corazza.

When complete, Rain will be composed of two towers reaching 21 and 19 storeys connected by a five-storey podium. Residents will have access to a variety of amenities, including an expansive 6000-square-foot rooftop terrace.
