This month, on July 14, Zancor Homes is celebating the grand opening of Xpression, their new condominium community in Richmond Hill. The grand opening festivities will include a community barbecue together with an ice cream truck to help beat the heat of the summer. Featuring fine contemporary architecture and a podium streetwall, Xpression will be a strong addition to Richmond Hill in establishing a vibrant urban core. Retail units along the Yonge Street podium frontage will help animate the streetscape. The promotion of the pedestrian realm is becoming an increasingly popular initiative among new suburban developments. Intensification of main streets will certainly provide sustainable growth and be a boost to public transit in the future.
