This is a building without equivocation. The muscular cladding, dark tones and dominant form together act as counterpoints to the lightness and ethereal nature of high-rise residential design in this city. Although all welcome architectural features, the unapologetic weightiness and strength of Monarch's Couture is an exciting divergence from the norm and serves to increase the diversity of our building stock. Designed by Graziani + Corazza Architects, the building was topped off in early June with construction scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
