A cathedral to commerce, the Allen Lambert Galleria is among the most impressive contributions to the public realm to come from a private development. A central component of the two-tower Brookfield Place complex, the organic white steel forms are a signature expression of Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava who drew inspiration for the design from the double rows of maple trees that line driveways throughout rural Ontario.
