Lanterra is moving forward with the redevelopment of the Sutton Place Hotel on Bay Street, and have released new renderings and floorplans to reveal just what they hope to turn the old brutalist hotel into. 18 different floorplans have been designed for The Britt Condos which range in size from 339 sqft studio apartments to 844 sqft 2+ bed and 2 bath suites. There are not yet prices for most units, however various sources list the starting price at the Britt Condos at $274,900.

The redevelopment of the Sutton Place Hotel is a bold project. The Hotel has been seen as a triumph of brutalist architecture by some, a style often now derided as date, cold and unfashionable in this city. Undoubtedly, there is nothing dated or unfashionable about The Britt's new lobby design.
