Construction on Monarch Group's Waterscapes Condo on Etobicoke's Lake Shore has been clipping along pretty consistently. A construction crane has been on-site since April and now with the foundation built up, Waterscapes is on pace to reach ground level soon. UrbanToronto Forum users drum118 and waterscapes-guy have posted photos of the recent rise, which we have included below.

How fortuitous that these photos arrive just as the Monarch Group provides us with a preliminary rendering of Waterscapes. The building, which is designed by Grazziani + Corazza Architects, looks very elegant here clad in sun-kissed steel and glass, and the podium looks like it will provide great opportunities to soak up that lakeside summer sun.
