It has been a while since we've discussed Theatre Park Condos, the high-rise project by the partnership of Lamb Development Corp, Niche Development and Harhay Developments. Construction began in earnest in December after a pile driver, bulldozer and cement truck were amassed on site. Earlier this month, UT Forum member Red Mars posted the photo below, which shows a substantial hole approximately one storey deep with what appears to be equipment for reinforcing the sides.

And just below is a more current shot of the site by Forum member JasonzedForum. The dirt access ramp has been moved to the north side of the construction site to allow reinforcement of the southern wall. It would appear to be slow progress but very typical of such a narrow and difficult site to dig out.

Once completed, Theatre Park will be comprised of 234 luxury dwellings over 47 storeys onto a 5200 square foot floorplate, mere steps away from St. Andrew subway station and some of Toronto's best theatres, concert venues, and restaurants. Designed by architectsAlliance with interiors by II by IV Design, the project will feature a forecourt sculptural park with waterfall and divot pond designed by an as-yet-unnamed international artist.
