UrbanToronto was pleased to bring three winners of our February Facebook contest through Living Shangri-La this past Tuesday. After meeting at the presentation centre at 200 University Avenue, we made out way to the Simcoe Street side of the building and rode the construction hoist 55 storeys into the air. You can see the construction hoist's mast on the left edge of the Westbank Corporation's building site below.

Our first stop was in one of the four Signature Series suites - the ones behind the "jewel box" windows you can see near the top of the building's western façade (above). Along with UrbanToronto host Craig White are our winners Tyson Williams, Andrew Harvey, and Jason Mills, and two guests, Lucas Petersen and Doug Gardner.

The tour included a visit to the terrace level of the building's two-storey penthouses. Glass is now being installed around the perimeter of the terraces. We will bring you many more images of the spectacular vistas from these units-to-be through the eyes of our tour winners soon.

UrbanToronto will be back with a story early next week detailing many of the sights seen on the tour, and we will also be announcing the details of our next tour contest – this time we will be taking people into Context Development's much admired Market Wharf complex now under construction near the St. Lawrence Market. Stay tuned!
