Work continues at the top of Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto for the spire that will top the tower off. In today's Photo Of The Day, by UrbanToronto forum member drum118, we see a platform being added which will be used by workers when the spire is being jacked up.

The spire itself can be seen within the building extending almost to the top of the steel framing for the quarter-dome roof. Once the spire is completed, welding and aircraft lights are items still being worked on, the structure will be jacked up and moved slightly to the northwest where it will sit at the corner of the tower. That's the length of what is hiding behind the northwest corner of the tower. Stay tuned as we bring photos of the actually rising.

Developed by Talon International, the 57 storey condo and hotel was designed by Zeidler Partnership Architects.
