Today the Canadian National Exhibition or CNE opens for the 133rd time. And in celebration today's Photo Of The Day looks back to the CNE of the late 1960's. 

While the image is not dated we can pretty safely say this photo is from 1969 or 1970. The first two TD Centre towers are built. They were both completed by 1969. Commerce Court, completed in 1972, is not visible yet which narrows the date to before 1971. And then there's the Bonnie and Clyde ride which we assume is based on the Warren Beatty movie that came out in 1967. Amazing how much the downtown skyline has changed in just 40 years.
