Toronto is expanding upwards at a rapid pace as today's Photo Of The Day illustrates perfectly. Taken by UrbanToronto forum member tomms, we see the new Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Toronto as it nears completion in Yorkville.

The 52-storey hotel and condo completely dominates the neighbourhood - for now that is - as work is soon to start on the 70-storey One Bloor East at Yonge and Bloor. Of course, there are also rumours of a 100-storey building coming soon to the area… we can't wait!

Developed by Menkes and Lifetime Developments, the Four Seasons was designed by architectsAlliance and Page + Steele Architects.
