Bloor Street makes for a pretty interesting urban canyon as today's Photo Of The Day clearly shows. The photo, taken by UrbanToronto forum member androiduk, shows the south side of Bloor from Bay Street almost all the way to Jarvis (Ted Rogers Way).
Things are set to change here in the next few years as construction of One Bloor East condos reshapes the street. Construction equipment for the 70 storey condo is evident in the middle of the picture. Expect something like this to be inserted into the above view in a couple of years.
Developed by Great Gulf Homes, the tower was designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects. Can't wait to see the final results.
