The boom in Toronto seems to be continuing unabated as new projects keep coming down the pipeline. Word has come to us that Cadillac Fairview has recently applied to construct a two tower complex at 156 Front Street West (the northeast corner of Front and Simcoe). The complex would consist of a 65 storey condo and a 54 storey office tower. Calculated guesses within the UrbanToronto forum would make that a 728 ft high condo and a 769 ft high office tower, or in other words the 11th and 8th tallest buildings in Toronto.

Final details are sketchy but here are a few renderings of the plans. These great renderings were created by UrbanToronto forum member CanadianNational and again are calculated guesses as opposed to official renderings.

Here we see the two towers in question on the right. The shorter green tower is the condo while the taller dark blue coloured building is the office tower.

The towers will replace a parking lot along Simcoe. They will also result in the demolition of the following heritage building which currently has Canyon Creek and Joe Badali's as tenants.

Only the south and east facade of the building will be retained. You can see it at the bottom of this rendering.

Much more here. Stay tuned as we follow the progress on this exiting new project. Can't wait to see exactly what is being planned here by Cadillac Fairview.
