Yesterday we ran a crude drawing of the proposal by Lanterra Developments for twin 58 storey condo towers at 501 Yonge Street. Today we get a great look of a massing model of the neighbourhood by Urban Toronto forum member CanadianNational.

The 501 Yonge twins sit roughly in the middle of the graphic with future neighbours roughed in for comparison. That's the 45 storey Five St. Joseph by Graywood Developments Ltd. and MOD Developments on the left. Demolition work has recently started there. In the middle we have the proposed 52 storey 21 Grenville by Lifetime Developments and CentreCourt Developments. And finally we have the massive 75 storey Aura at College Park condos by Canderel Stoneridge which is currently under construction.

This is truly a neighbourhood in transition.

Many more renderings can be found here. Great work CanadianNational
