The view from University Avenue has changed significantly in recent years with the addition of the Uptown, CrystalBlu and 1 St Thomas condos. And believe it or not that view will again change significantly in the next few years. New additions will include the 70 storey One Bloor East, the 16 storey 77 Charles West, the 35 storey Nicholas, the 21 storey The St Thomas and the 64 storey 42 Charles East, which may or may not be hidden by the Manulife Centre in this view.

Here's another recent shot of Uptown, this one taken from inside the Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art, seen above with the poster for the Betty Woodman exhibition. The shot peers between the Colonnade and Victoria College, and past the Windsor Arms Hotel and other towers to Uptown at back centre. Crystal Blu appears to its right.

Developed by Pemberton Group, the 48 storey Uptown Residences was designed by Burka Architects.
