For years the CN Tower stood alone as it dominated our skyline. But in the last ten years development has quickly begun to encircle the tower making it harder for it to stand out as much as before. Today's Photo Of The Day, taken by forum member androiduk, is a perfect example of this. He we see the tower being squeezed by two of the new Pinnacle Centre's condo towers.

Developed by Vancouver based Pinnacle International, the four tower project is coming close to completion. Here we see the 50 storey 33 Bay Street tower nearing completion with the 54 storey Success Tower on the right already done. The complex was designed by Page + Steele Architects.

Here's a rendering of 33 Bay Street that we hadn't seen before.
