This morning we attended the ground breaking for the new Emerald Park Condominiums. Consisting of two condominium towers – 42 storeys and 32 storeys – they are connected by a three-storey, mixed-use podium with direct access to the subway. Developed by Metropia, Bazis International, and Plaza and designed by Roy Varacalli, they are set to significantly reshape Yonge and Sheppard and the North York City Centre skyline.

Michael Gold, President of Bazis International spoke excitedly about the project.

Project architect Roy Varacalli referred to blades of grass as an inspiration for the design.

And then to the official ground breaking.
