In a city awash in precast, Chaz on Charles, developed by 45 Charles Ltd. and Edenshaw Homes, and designed by Sol Wassermuhl of Page + Steele/IBI Group Architects, will have its podium clad what seems to be the rarest of materials being used these days: limestone.

The limestone cladding is giving its name to a collection of units in the five-storey podium now being offered at Chaz. The Limestone collection suites will overlook the landscape courtyard terrace.

The terrace is an intimate setting, nestled between the soothing sounds of the water features, and their dappled light which will play on the podium's limestone facade above. The landscaped courtyard features an alfresco dining area and barbecue, while just inside the sliding glass walls residents will have access to a wet bar, a living room, a billiards room, and an indoor dining room should the weather turn nasty outside. Chaz's extensive amenities continue with a private pet spa equipped with a stainless steel tub and a blow dryer, a fully-equipped gym, combination yoga/Pilates studio and spinning room, men’s and women’s change rooms with steam rooms, and a spa with massage chairs and hydra massage bed. There is a unique computer gamers arena featuring online computer gaming gear, plus residents will have the use of two theatres, a fully equipped conference/meeting room, and two guest suites. High atop Chaz is the spectacular club located on the 36th and 37th floors, overlooking the downtown skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows and offering an open terrace to enjoy the views. The club is home to a two-storey grand room with lounge and bar, and an exclusive dining room for 20 people, and a demonstration cooking kitchen. 45 Charles Ltd. and Edenshaw Homes have also recently celebrated winning several Silver awards at the 2010 National Sales and Marketing Awards, competing against condominium projects from across the continent. Wins include the categories Best Logo, Best Brochure, Best Overall Advertising Campaign, Best Virtual Reality Experience, Best Sales Centre, Community of the Year, and four others.
